Toepassingen:
Acetaldehyde dimethyl acetaal wordt gebruikt als smaakmiddel. Het wordt ook gebruikt bij de bereiding van (R)-4,4-dimethoxy-2-butanol, pyrazolen en pyrimidine. Daarnaast wordt het gebruikt bij de bereiding van N,N-diethyl-[2-(4-fluorfenyl)-5-methylpyrazolo[1,5-a]-pyrimidin-3-yl]acetamide en acetoacetaldehyde.
